I know this is late, but I have been swamped at work, so things have been slow.
Sean Corfield has blogged about ColdBox, over at http://corfield.org/blog/index.cfm/do/blog.entry/entry/ColdBox and does a mini-review on it. He also asks ColdBox users to give their opinions on why they chose Coldbox? Why they like it? etc? Some people have already made their comments. So if you still have not commented, please head over there and submit your comments. Thanks. Luis

I wouldn't grace my blog post with the epithet of mini-review - I haven't looked at ColdBox in enough detail to review it! It's clear that some of ColdBox's users love it tho' so at some point I have to download it and try it out...

I *am* impressed by the documentation you've created!

Sean has once again turned me on to one of the coolest things Ive seen in a LONG time. THANKS SEAN!

Mr Manajo, After one night of reading your awesome documentation, and one night of messing around, I think I can safely say that ColdBox is one of the BADDEST, SLICKEST, SUPER DUPER COOLEST things I have ever seen.

And your source code examples need to be released by themselves as good, clean, very understandable examples of CFML OO. You my man, are a smart dude!

If anyone has a scratch to check out a framework...... This one is SILLY GREAT.

I can't find it now, but i think in one of the articles Mr. Manajo lets us in on a little secret: he has bee programming since he was borne. Ummmmmm... seems like it. ColdBox feels like it was make by someone who intuitively knows what a developer wants.

Thanks for you being on planet earth.

From Legacy Risk to Modern Agility: A Phased Modernization Roadmap for CFML Teams

From Legacy Risk to Modern Agility: A Phased Modernization Roadmap for CFML Teams

Many organizations running CFML applications today face the same challenge.

Their systems still work.

They support core business processes.

They generate revenue.

But at the same time, those platforms are increasingly exposed to risk.

Unsupported runtimes, operational fragility, security exposure, and difficulty integrating with modern systems are becoming more common in environments still running older versions of Adobe ColdFusion or Lucee.

The quest...
